By Daniel L.

On August 31, 2022, while lawfully riding my bicycle, I was struck broadside by a car that was cited for running a red light at the corner of North Broadway and Milton Avenues in Columbus, OH. When EMTs arrived at the scene, I was strapped to a backboard, placed in a neck collar, and my cycling clothes were cut off as I was transported to a nearby hospital, where I was held the rest of the day for extensive testing. I suffered widespread bruising and cuts to my face (which required stitches) and to my arms and legs. The brand-new carbon fiber bicycle I was riding was totaled. Upon researching possible legal representatives, I settled on the Brian G. Miller Law Firm and subsequently worked closely with Attorney Adam L. Slone and Paralegal and Administrative Assistant Stacey L. Honaker. I chose these legal advocates because I liked the personal size of the firm and the intense interest they took in my case from day one. Attorney Slone is a fellow cyclist and immediately grasped the emotional and physical impact caused by the crash. Together with Stacey Honaker, the two set up an effective communication system through a confidential texting account, which allowed me to immediately upload or download any document they needed to represent me effectively. Attorney Slone stayed in regular telephone contact, as well, which kept me up to date on the status of the case. The Miller Law Firm ultimately negotiated very fair settlements for my property and personal injury damages. Much more importantly, they took care of every detail with grace and kindness, which allowed me to focus on my own physical, mental, and emotional healing. I recommend this firm and its personal service wholeheartedly and without reservation.
